Six years ago, Ann Gunter and her daughter - Ashley Gunter Long - formed their custom jewelry design business after learning how to make jewelry and accumulating more than they could wear. Since the mother-daughter team consists of two different generations, Ann and Ashley offer something to appeal to every age. Current designs include long pendant necklaces, earrings, and children’s jewelry. Ann-Ashley jewelry features fresh water pearls, 18k gold plated brass findings, and crystal stones.
Mobtown Merch was founded in the fall of 2016 by native Mobilians in order to channel the spirit and pride of our great city into the finest products and apparel. The founders grew up in Mobile but eventually moved on from their hometown for college and later starting their careers in larger cities all over the country. After many years of being away, the whole team found themselves back in Mobile with plenty of inspiration and ideas from their experiences away from home. Seeing a chance to build off of the ever growing pride and momentum within the city, and with a severe lack in availability of products that rep Mobile, mobtown merch was formed. The goal is to inspire pride in mobtown and give the citizens a way to show it off. All of mobtown merch's designs are original and unique to some aspect of Mobile.
The Happy Olive is gourmet and gift specialty retail store that features olive oils for around the world and balsamics from Modena, Italy. Our store also features various rubs, and other condiments for cooking at home. The Happy Olive also is one of three specialty stores which features small batch gourmet mustards on tap.

Velvet Lab was started by mother Joni Lovvorn and daughter Kati Lovvorn who wanted to share their love of handmade goods, fun gifts and stylish clothing with everyone. Retail has always been a passion for the duo and they love having the opportunity to start a small business with the help of Urban Emporium. They offer handmade furniture, picture frames, and accessories from reclaimed wood from Mobile Bay and also offer a array of clothing and gifts from all over.
Polish Boutique is a local women’s boutique that has been styling Mobile for the past 12 years. Owned and operated by two sisters, Amber Saltz and Mandy Blakenship. Polish offers fashionable and affordable apparel, shoes, accessories, and gifts!
Polish Boutique is currently selling through their social media. They are offering curbside pickup, local delivery, and shipping. They can accept Venmo, PayPal, or credit cards over the phone.
Coterie’s boutique concept pairs quality fashion with great price points – perfect for shoppers with a variety of styles and budgets! Owner Randall Copeland Bowman specializes in styling and creating special looks for her clients. She chooses contemporary yet classic pieces that can be worn for multiple occasions as well as a few trendy pieces that are inexpensive and fun! With Mobile’s mild climate, she likes to focus on pieces that can be worn all year round. In addition to fresh and modern clothing, Coterie offers unique jewelry, purses, and other accessories which are carefully curated to help put the finishing touches on any outfit.
